Engagement: Visionaire is responsible for the turn-key Development, Implementation and Support of the MediLinks Critical Care System, a commercial application which is a browser based comprehensive ventilator management system that assists physicians, respiratory therapists and nurses in managing, validating, and improving ventilator weaning practices.
This system enables clinicians to improve outcomes and define best weaning practices while considerably reducing a patient’s time on the ventilator. It also interfaces through HL7 to other hospital systems allowing scheduling of therapist treatments and reporting on patient outcomes to treatment protocols.
Theronyx is in deployment of the MediLinks Critical Care System within large hospital networks in California. This is a unique and innovative product with huge potential given the need and desire for advances in Healthcare IT. The successful development of this product is a great win for both Visionaire and Theronyx.
