Engagement
Balboa Insurance Group is part of Countrywide and offering a wide
range of insurance programs designed exclusively for financial institutions
and their customers. As part of their DSS system the Data mart was
designed to provide complete information on Earnings and Loss consisting
4 different star schemas for Policy Earnings, Policy Claims, Coverage
Earnings and Coverage Claims. Earnings, Claims, Actuary, Sales and
Product admin departments intensively use this Datamart. Visionaire
consultants were brought in to upgrade the Data mart while maintaining
the integrity of the systems.
Outcome
Visionaire's consultants successfully upgraded the Microstrategy
6.x application to Microstrategy7.2/7i with the cost and time constrains
set forth by Balboa management.
Engagement
Balboa was embarking on implementing Siebel 7 (purchased by its holding
company, Countrywide). They needed a focused and expert team to establish
proof of concept projects. Visionaire stepped up to the challenge
and provided our best Siebel consultants to take on the task.
Outcome
Visionaire helped Balboa with the Proof Of Concept (POC) to determine
whether Siebel 7 would be beneficial to their eClaims process. Visionaire
later participated in implementing Siebel for them and also enabled
